Coverage: Up to 100 sq.ft./L ( ~11 sq.m./L) Depending on the condition of the surface.
Preparation: New surfaces must be completely dry. Use a wire brush or a scrapper to remove all defective paints or powdery residues. Treat mould growth with a solution of 230 grams (1/2 lb) of bleaching powder and 230 grams of washing soda in 13.5 litre (3 gallons) of water. Leave 24 hours and scrape off the remaining. Then clean thoroughly with water. Seal powdery walls with a suitable alkali resisting primer (Dulux Masonry Sealer). Prime with 1 coat “Dulux Weathershield Crack Bridging wall Primer” (thinned 5% water max).
Application: After appropriate priming apply 2 coats of Weathershield Extra by brush, roller or spray. Dilute up to 10% with water (do not add more than the recommended amount).
